OCBCC Child Care Worker Appreciation Day

October 22nd, 2020  is the  20th annual Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day . This year's theme is Rising Up!  This day recognizes the commitment, hard work and education of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and all staff who work with young children. From government cuts to the COVID-19 pandemic, our sector has faced many challenges this year. The workers have risen to the challenge and are now Rising Up to call for better wages, working conditions and support for the sector. Each year the day is proclaimed by municipalities and school boards across Ontario and marked in hundreds of child care centres.

Sponsored by Ontario's labor movement, the day draws attention to the value of ECEs and child care workers in communities. It is also a great opportunity to call for better wages, working conditions and support for these workers.

Orders are now being accepted for your 20th annual Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day posters and buttons using this order form . Remember members receive their materials for free, so if you aren't already a member please consider the becoming one today ! Please ensure you select the correct category on the order form and take note of the minimum and maximum order sizes. If you are placing a large order, please order early.
