Notice of Election: Diversity Representative

We will be accepting nominations for the Executive Position: Diversity Representative at the February Membership meeting. Candidates that accept their nomination at the February meeting will have the opportunity to speak on the floor at the elections at the March membership meeting. All other candidates running off the floor in March will not be able to speak on the floor. This position is to be filled with an individual that self-identifies as racialized, a member of the LGBTQ2+ community, and/or a member of the disabled community. A description of the role can be found in our bylaws:

1. Attend the Executive and Membership meetings on voluntary basis.

2. Encourage participation of equity-seeking groups.

3. Make recommendations to the Executive and Membership with regards to

improving communication and participation of equity-seeking members.

4. Assist other Executive members with Local business and assigned duties.
