Black History Month

February is dedicated as Black History Month.

CUPE 2484 joins you this month in reflecting on our practices. We must intentionally support Black families and Black child care workers through collaboration and actively identifying and dismantling systems of oppression. Accessible universal child care that is anti-racist is one step toward removing systemic barriers.

Our efforts intend to go beyond February and are part of a cultural transformation toward equity and racial justice for all.
