WE DID IT! After decades of advocacy, child care workers across the country have a Canada-wide Child Care deal. While we know our work to ensure the deal is focused on workforce strategies and expanding the non-profit sector, this is a milestone in education, care, and women’s rights. Canada will be a better place for EVERYONE because of our work and we must take the time to use this win to fill ourselves up with pride and hope.

On May 1st, we will join the Ontario Federation of Labor Rally/March to Queen’s Park in Toronto for 2:00pm. This province wide day of action for A Worker First Agenda will be a chance for us to gather in person, build community, and celebrate our collective WIN.

CUPE will provide light snacks, drinks, and giveaways. More details to come.
